About This Event
Every Monday night, Bakersfield eSports Center turns into your local D&D spot. We run an open weekly campaign where returning players pick up where they left off and new players can jump right in. No commitment required. Show up when you can.
You don't need experience. You don't even need your own dice (we've got extras). If you've been curious about Dungeons and Dragons but never had a group to try it with, this is the easiest way to start. Doors open at noon so you can hang out, and the game kicks off at 7 PM.
It's free. Every week. Just show up to Bakersfield eSports Center in Bakersfield, CA and pull up a chair.
Rules & Format
Open format campaign, so the DM adjusts for whoever shows up that session
New players: bring a character sheet if you have one. If you don't, we'll help you build one before the game starts
Returning players: bring your existing character sheet and any notes from previous sessions
Standard 5th Edition rules apply
All official sourcebooks are welcome
Prizes
This is a casual weekly campaign with no prizes or entry fee. Just good D&D with good people.
Schedule
Doors open: 12 PM
Game starts: 7 PM every Monday
Sessions run until the story hits a good stopping point (usually around 3 to 4 hours)
No bracket structure. This is a cooperative campaign, not a tournament.

Q: Do I need to come every week to keep up with the story?
A: Nope. The DM runs an open campaign that works for whoever shows up. You won't be lost if you miss a week.
Q: I've never played D&D before. Can I still join?
A: Yes. We get new players regularly and the group is good about helping people learn as they go.
Q: Do I need to bring anything?
A: Bring a character sheet if you have one. If you're brand new, come a little early and we'll help you make one. Dice and pencils are available if you need them.
Q: Where can I play Dungeons and Dragons in Bakersfield?

Q: What if I have questions before showing up?
A: Hop into our Discord server. You can ask anything there and meet some of the other players before your first session.
